Barbara Kadletz
Born in 1981, lives and works as a bookseller in Vienna. When she is not selling other people's books, she is writing her own texts or talking about literature - as a presenter, reviewer or in her weekly blog ‘Das Buch zum Wochenende’. She has published theatre plays and short stories. 2nd place in the FM4 literature competition Wortlaut 2018, shortlisted for the Book Blog Award 2019 & 2020.

150 years after Joseph Schöffel saved the Vienna Woods, part of the world-famous recreational area is once again on the brink of extinction. A ‘sustainable’ office building is to be built in the middle of the forest. A descendant of Schöffel is supposed to ensure that the construction goes ahead. But then suddenly there is a confusion of the sort you would expect.
