Alois Schörghuber
He was born in Amstetten, Lower Austria, in 1956 and was an editor at Ö1 for 24 years. Among other things, he hosted the live talk programme "Punkt eins" and created numerous contributions for "Hörbilder" and "Diagonal" as well as numerous reports for "Moment" and "Kulinarium" on Fridays. Awarded the Prelate Unger Journalist Prize in 2018 and 3rd place in the Silver Living Award in 2020. "Betreten nur für Unbefugte" is his debut as a book author.

Betreten nur für Unbefugte
In his job as an Ö1 editor, Alois Schörghuber has followed the sometimes bizarre excesses of our society at close quarters: as an interviewer, researcher and thinker. As such, and as an astute observer of everyday life, he has developed a talent for dissecting many an idiosyncrasy of the human species down to the smallest detail. His commentaries are trenchant observations of everyday life with a delight in wordplay, a literary journey through "human biotopes".
