Thomas Schrems
was born in 1967. After school and university, he spent 26 years as a journalist at the Kronen Zeitung, Austria's highest-circulation tabloid. He went through all the stages of this newspaper, from reporter to head of chronicles, page editor and deputy editor-in-chief. Today he lives as a freelance writer in Styria and has ghostwritten more than 20 non-fiction books for prominent authors. He also writes novels and short stories.

Tod einer Randnotiz
Vinzent Kluger, highly paid chief reporter and on a first-name basis with the country's dignitaries, has seemingly seen it all, experienced it all. Until mysterious events at Madame Tussauds in Vienna awaken the instincts of the ageing newspaper bloodhound once again. Unsuspecting, he swallows the bait, rushes forward with exclusive stories and sets a vicious game of hide-and-seek in motion. Several people die as a result of Kluger's actions and he ultimately has to face up to questions of morality, guilt and shared responsibility.
